Psyfunkle is intended to help people embody their individuality, explorations, creativity and heart. Unlike many fashion brands we are not here to encourage ego decoration, rather to help people express and explore their inner nature and thus be better able to connect with other life.
The clothing is handmade in our studio, designed and constructed with care and love. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.
We focus on events wear, for festivals, parties, the stage, the screen, and formal occasions; but we like to think that Psyfunkle encourages freedom from mental constraints. It is for all shapes, sizes, imaginations and moods and is not limited to any one occasion. Style is as limitless, diverse, strange and beautiful as the people who wear it.
MEET THE MAKERS
Psyfunkle was born after Ellajaz and Lily hosted an epic 'club kids' themed party. It was here that they realised that truly unique clothing is rare and needed in order to create the best environments, where people feel bold and free to have the best time. The brand was founded in 2017, two months later, by Ellajaz who remains brand owner and head designer of Psyfunkle. Lily soon joined the team and works as a designer. At this stage we remain a very small team of two.

WHY MAKE ONE-OF A KIND?
Fashion to me is a tool that helps me embody my authentic self of the moment. It is deeply personal. I believe that customers connect more to one off pieces and value them more in the knowledge that they own something that is only theirs. In other words, I believe if fashion is a tool for authenticity then when the clothes themselves are authentic it adds to their ability to empower us.
WHY DOES PSYFUNKLE HANDMAKE CLOTHING, NOT OUTSOURCE PRODUCTION?
This is a slow fashion model as opposed to our regular fast fashion (high profit) industry. The fashion industry needs to change. Second to oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world. I do not want my brand to value consumerism in the traditional sense. We are about mindful consumption, consuming less products, but quality products that fill you with joy and you keep forever because at a moment in time they were your soulmate item. Our handmade clothing is stitched with so much love and it's quality is monitored and assured by us.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM PIECES?
We love collaborating. It has always been our dream to make people's soulmate items, things that other shops don't provide, garments that fit your unique body gorgeously, enliven your soul and last lifetimes. However custom items are a very time-consuming (but very fun) process, they involve taking measurements, pattern-making, finding fabric, construction, fittings and loads more little steps along the way. Hence these garments come at a higher price. We know we can make your clothing dreams come true but bare in mind my loves we will only accept custom orders that reflect Psyfunkle spirit in them.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES POLICY?
We want your new garment to make you feel stunning and we understand that buying online can be tricky. We will accept returns for any reason within the first 30 days of sale. However the garment must be in perfect condition on return - each item is checked before sale. Once the garment is returned and checked, the refund will be processed.
Return shipping at buyers expense.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY GARMENT AFTER USE?
We use all sorts of rare and unusual fabrics but do not despair, all our garments come with handwritten care instructions specifically suited for the garment you have purchased. If you only like to buy easy care items. PLease send us a message and we can inform you which garments are machine washable.
